I love having friends over, enjoying their company and sharing food and drink together. Part of the fun is the preparation, whether it be planning and cooking the meal, decorating my home or making sure my garden is groomed during the summer…and I love doing all of it! My friends call me Martha!

I’ve been putting recipes online for years. I started a web business in 1995 and not too long after that I realized how convenient it would be to put my favorite recipes online so I started a website at www.creative-culinary.com . It was a great solution not only for me but over the years has also become the easiest way to share recipes with my friends and family.

I’ve been using Twitter for almost a year now and it didn’t take long for me to discover that my static website needed to change and it was time to build a blog. I don’t know if I’ll ever have the ability to write the great posts I see online or at least not for some time. I continue to run a web development business (Kinetic Webs) and also a retail business for wine accessories, gourmet foods and unique gifts (Vino Luci). This new enterprise is fun as it’s all about those things I love. We don’t sell wine but some fun things for folks who enjoy drinking the grape, assisting several companies with their corporate gift giving and are holding wine tasting and pairing events locally.

I’m trying to move over a thousand recipes from the website to the blog so most of those recipes will be without photos as I work during this transition but I’m enjoying the new challenge of cooking and photographing dishes as I prepare them. My friends and neighbors are too!
